About A Clever Knack

The idea for this blog began in IHOP. Yes, the International House of Pancakes. Katie and I were devouring two rather unladylike omelets (they were enormous!) as Anne attempted to consume a vegetarian breakfast before her flight home. It was one of those rare occasions we all were together again after college and not attending a wedding.

We had a lot to talk about. Books, crafts, recipes, work, future plans, more books, shopping, clothes, etc. Conversation moved towards Pinterest where we admitted we found most of our ideas. Goodreads also popped up in there too.

I can't remember who originally suggested the idea of having a joint blog, but it seemed the perfect idea for us to stay in touch and share ideas! Theresa by far had the most successfully accomplished craft ideas, Rachel is an exceptional jeweler/craft queen, Katie is a librarian with tons of good book suggestions/critiques, and Anne gives great fashion advice and book reviews! Even though we have our specific areas that we primarily focus on, we all dabble in all sorts of things.

So we decided we could have a pretty interesting blog that covers a variety of topics! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
